We are very pleased to welcome Matthias Ehrlich among our shareholders. Matthias Ehrlich is one of the most well-known digital and media experts of the German media economy. The long-time board member of 1&1 Internet AG and CEO of United Internet Media AG has been involved in the strategic consulting and investment business since 2013. In addition, Matthias Ehrlich has played a key role in the successful development and expansion of the digital economy in Germany and, since June 2013, he has been President of the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e.V. (German Digital Business Association, BVDW).
Ehrlich explains his reasons for becoming involved with BrandMaker: “Marketing automation and, in this context, the efficient controllability of marketing, is one of the most important strategic aims for the further development of companies in the digital age. In the future, extensive platforms and dashboards will be available to the marketer which can be used to plan, control, and monitor the entire marketing process. BrandMaker has a comprehensive understanding of digitalization in marketing which can put the marketer back in the driving seat of the company.”
Matthias Ehrlich first worked with BrandMaker in 2014 – he was the keynote speaker at the “RoadMap” User Conference, which will take place in Cologne again on May 20, 2015. For more information and registration details, please see www.brandmaker.com/roadmap.
We have expanded the program of our 2nd International User Conference “RoadMap 2015” on May 20 in Cologne by additional roundtables. The motto says it all: In addition to application examples from well-known BrandMaker customers and technology presentations on the current status of technology, participants have the opportunity to discuss selected questions with proven experts in several roundtables. The topics range from the local adaptation of global brands to the efficient management of license rights and best practices for the cost-efficient production of advertising material. The topics of the tables are:
Roundtable “Taking Brands Global”. A core aspect of globalization is the localization of a company’s brand and marketing message – which involves much more than simply translating texts. The founder and organizer of the Brand2Global Conference, Ulrich Henes, together with Bruno Herrmann (Nielsen) and Elliot Polak (Textappeal), will shed a light on the key issues faced when adapting advertising materials and campaigns for different target markets. The experts will also talk about the impact of the rapidly changing landscape of social media.
Roundtable “Image Procurement and License Rights”. For license rights management and the decentralized procurement of digital assets, the devil is in the detail. Procuring the same media several times, retroactive licensing for additional use, and tax issues in international marketing can cost serious money. Michaela Schmitz from Roba Images advises a wide range of companies on how to procure images and other media assets in a cost-effective way and manage their license rights efficiently. In this roundtable, she explains the key to success.
Roundtable “Reduce Costs with Print on Demand”. Print on Demand enables companies of all sizes to produce all kinds of business stationary, marketing collateral and POS materials quickly and flexibly. Jochen Schüßler is a member of the management board at flyeralarm, Europe’s leading service provider in this sector He will discuss the commercial and technical aspects on these topics. In particular, Jochen Schüßler will show how costs can be reduced by up to 50 percent using concrete examples from the print and advertising technology sectors.
