Robert_Gratzl_Blog_smRobert Gratzl (50) is joining us at BrandMaker GmbH as General Manager and Chief Operations Officer (COO). “Robert Gratzl is the ideal addition to our management team,” explains CEO Mirko Holzer. “His support will help us to further expand our market leadership position in Europe by setting new technological benchmarks in the field of marketing automation, while driving ahead our global internationalization strategy.” We at BrandMaker have delivered strong sales growth for years, regularly outperforming the already extremely dynamic marketing technologies market. BrandMaker is internationally successful and represented in locations including the USA, France and Poland.

After creating the new role of a COO, we have been able to attract Robert Gratzl, one of Germany’s most experienced IT managers, to take up the position. Gratzl will join our founders Mirko Holzer and Sven Schäfer as a third General Manager of BrandMaker GmbH. Most recently heading Citrix’ European SaaS Division as Managing Director and General Manager EMEA, Robert Gratzl previously held the positions of CEO of Netviewer AG and Chief Financial Officer of web.de AG and played key roles in the success stories of both companies.

Move forward: From IBM to BrandMaker

Gert-Jan Tretmans 2013We proudly present: Gert-Jan Tretmans, BrandMaker’s new Vice President Sales Europe. He has joined BrandMaker´s management team on October 1st and will be responsible for the company´s solutions throughout Europe, spanning direct sales with BrandMaker´s own team of account managers as well as indirect sales via distributors and partners. The acknowledged expert on marketing technologies has spent more than ten years in sales management roles with companies like Unica and IBM before joining BrandMaker.

Since 2004, Tretmans has worked for ground-breaking US provider of MRM systems Unica Corp. There he was responsible for developing the company’s business in Europe. After Unica’s acquisition by IBM in 2011, the company was incorporated within the IBM Enterprise Marketing Management division. “Gert-Jan Tretmans´international perspective and specialist expertise will provide valuable impetus for the ongoing implementation of our growth strategy”, says BrandMaker CEO Mirko Holzer. Tretmans adds: “BrandMaker has always been committed to making the life of marketers easier by providing best-in-class technologies for most relevant use cases. I am looking forward to join BrandMaker and scale European sales in these exciting and challenging times for marketers.”
